The Church Singers

Our group of singers, originated almost 10 years ago and went from strength to strength, under the watchful eye of Rev Mitchell Collins, a much-loved member of the Church and dear friend to all. Now, under the leadership of Rev Donald Lawrie and supported by Myra Donaldson on the piano, we meet every Tuesday from 7pm - 9pm in the Hall at Auchterderran, with a break in the middle for the all important coffee, cake and chat.

We consider ourselves a friendly, fun and inclusive choir who love to meet and sing together. Music, social, community and friendship are at the heart of what we do.

Each week we sing an Introit for the service of worship in Church. We also enjoy singing a variety of popular songs and aim to produce a concert once a year in the hall, as well as singing for other events in the church calendar. The concert is always very popular with people from the church and the wider community. At various times throughout the year we are also invited to sing at events in the local community.
